SATURDAY MORNING MINIROOS

Miniroos will continue in the 2024 season at Bacchus Marsh Racecourse Reserve.

Saturday Morning Miniroos will start on Saturday 27th April, 2024.

Session time will be from 10.00am – 11:00am on a Saturday Morning only.

Miniroos is a fun introduction to soccer for kids aged 5-7 years old. This is a great foundation for  kids to learn skills to enable them to then go on and play in our Under 8’s team. Miniroo’s is less overwhelming for children starting out in soccer as they learn a new skill each week, work on previously learned skills and then have a small-sided game. It’s a fantastic way for kids to gain confidence, and learn to be part of a team.

(Parents are required to stay at the grounds while children are participating in a training session, and if your child has any issues, please ensure the coach knows before the training session starts.)

Registrations must be completed online. For all new players, a FFA number is needed before the registration process can be started. Please see the registrations page for more details.

Payment will need to be made at the time of registration. We ask that all payments are to be done online to reduce the amount of admin. Please see a member of the committee if there are any problems with registrations. We are more than happy to assist you.

Email and Facebook PM’s are an efficient form of communication within our club. Please understand that we are all volunteers and we have jobs and families but we will endeavour to assist you as quickly as we can.

The Next step into Soccer:

When you feel your child is ready to advance, has confidence and has learnt the necessary skills, the Under 8’s team is the next step.

In an age group team, all children on the team will be required to train 2 nights per week and then play in a match on a Sunday. Sunday matches can vary in time and will be scheduled at a ground/reserve any where from Bacchus Marsh to Ballarat. We are associated in the Ballarat League (BDSA) which mean that our teams will play against other teams from the Ballarat District.
